Admission to XIMB MBA programs is a multi-stage merit-based process. Step 1: Candidates must appear in at least one valid entrance exam — XAT (conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, January), CAT (conducted by IIMs, November), GMAT (valid 2024–2026 scores), or X-GMT (conducted by XIM University, January). For MBA-HRM, MBA-RM, MBA-SM, MBA-UMG, MBA-PPM, and MMS-BF, NMAT by GMAC scores are also accepted. For MBA-UMG, GATE/CEED scores are additionally considered. Step 2: Register on the official XIM University portal at xim.edu.in. Application fee is INR 1,800 for the first program and INR 400 for each additional program. Step 3: Shortlisting is based on entrance exam score (overall and sectional cutoffs), academic profile, work experience, gender diversity, and Odisha domicile preference.
