The Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG) is an autonomous research institution under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. Named after its founder Prof. D.N. Wadia, the institute is dedicated to unravelling the geodynamics of the Himalaya, climate-tectonic interactions, and natural hazard assessment.
