Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), Agartala, established in 1958, is a premier government engineering institution located in Narsingarh, Tripura. Originally started as a polytechnic institute, it was upgraded to a full-fledged degree engineering college in 2007 to meet the growing demand for technical education in the North-Eastern region of India. The institute is affiliated with Tripura University (A Central University) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
