Travancore Engineering College (TEC), Oyoor, was established in 2002 by the Travancore Educational Society, Kallambalam. The society itself was registered in 2001 under the Charitable Societies Act by a group of visionaries and educationists with the dedicated intention of providing high-quality technical education to the weaker sections of society. Located in Roadvila, near Oyoor in the Kollam district, the college campus is spread over 25 acres of lush green, eco-friendly land, offering an ideal environment for academic pursuits away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). TEC initially started with three core engineering branches and has since expanded to offer five undergraduate B.Tech programs and two postgraduate M.Tech programs. Admission Process

Admissions are conducted through the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) entrance exam for 50% of the seats (Government Quota) and management entrance/criteria for the remaining seats. Lateral entry is available for diploma holders through the LET exam.

Cutoffs

KEAM ranks for CSE typically range from 25,000 to 45,000; Civil and Mechanical ranks usually close around 55,000.
