The NorthCap University (NCU), formerly known as ITM University and before that as the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Gurgaon, is a prestigious private university located in Sector 23-A, Gurugram, Haryana, India. Established in 1996 by the Educate India Society – registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 16 June 1995 – the university was initially affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It was granted the status of a private university in the academic year 2009–10 under the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006, and was subsequently renamed ITM University and later rebranded as The NorthCap University. Spread across a 10-acre state-of-the-art campus with a covered area of over 32,000 square metres, NCU houses four major schools: the School of Engineering and Technology, the School of Management and Liberal Studies, the School of Law, and the School of Business. Admission Process

Admission to NCU Gurgaon is based on valid scores in national or state entrance examinations, followed by document verification and counselling/personal interview. For B.Tech: Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Valid JEE Main or CUET-UG score is required. For MBA: Minimum 50% marks in graduation from a recognised university. Valid CAT / CMAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT / NMAT score is required, followed by a Personal Interview. For Law (BBA LLB / BA LLB): Minimum 50% marks in Class XII. Valid CLAT / AILET / LSAT / NCU Test score is required. For BBA / BCA / B.Sc / BA (Hons) / B.Com (Hons): Minimum 50% marks in Class XII from a recognised board. Admission based on merit / CUET-UG score. For M.Tech: Valid GATE score is mandatory.
