About SANTINIKETAN MEDICAL COLLEGE

Santiniketan Medical College (SMC) is India's first medical college established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with the Government of West Bengal and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Spanning a 25-acre campus, it provides 150 MBBS seats annually and is attached to a 1100-bedded teaching hospital.

Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech is primarily based on the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam scores followed by centralized counseling. Lateral entry options are available for diploma holders. For Diploma courses, admission is based on the merit of the qualifying SSLC/CBSE examination and as per the norms set by the DTE Kerala.
