Param Veer Chakra Naib Subedar Sanjay Kumar Government Polytechnic, Bilaspur at Kalol, is a premier technical institution established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in 2013. Named after the legendary war hero and recipient of India's highest military decoration, Rifleman Sanjay Kumar, the institute embodies a spirit of excellence and discipline. Initially starting its operations from a mentor institute, the polytechnic moved to its state-of-the-art permanent campus at Kalol in July 2019. Spread across a scenic landscape in the Bilaspur district, the college provides a serene environment conducive to high-level technical learning and innovation. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala. It currently offers specialized diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, each with an annual intake of 60 students. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice, supported by well-equipped laboratories, modern workshops, and a digital library housing over 50,000 volumes.
