About ORISSA SCHOOL OF MINING ENGINEERING, KEONJHAR

Established in 1956, Orissa School of Mining Engineering (OSME) is a premier government-run technical institute in Keonjhar. It was initially started to focus on mining engineering and remains the only institution in Eastern India offering a diploma in Drilling Engineering. The campus is spread over 44 acres and provides specialized technical education to meet the industrial needs of the mineral-rich state of Odisha.

Admission Process

Admission is conducted through the centralized counseling process based on the merit of the Diploma Entrance Test (DET) conducted by SCTE&VT/DTET Odisha. Eligibility requires 10th pass with 35% aggregate.
