About National Institute of Technology, Srinagar

National Institute of Technology Srinagar is one of the premier public technical universities in India. Established in 1960 as REC Srinagar, it was upgraded to NIT in 2003. It is located on the western bank of the world-famous Dal Lake.

B.Tech admission is via JEE Main and JoSAA. M.Tech requires GATE and CCMT. M.Sc requires IIT JAM and CCMN. MBA admission is based on CAT/MAT scores followed by PI.
