National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), is a premier public engineering university. Established in 1960, it is one of the 31 NITs in India and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. The campus is spread over 295 acres along the Arabian Sea coast.

Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech is through JEE Main and JoSAA/CSAB counselling. M.Tech admissions are via GATE and CCMT. MCA through NIMCET. MBA through CAT/MAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
