About NAGALAND TOOL ROOM & TRAINING CENTRE
Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur, is a premier Government of Nagaland Society established in 2006 under the Department of Industries & Commerce. It was developed with significant financial assistance from the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, to address the growing need for skilled manpower in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. The institute serves as a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility that bridges the gap between academic education and industrial employment by providing specialized training in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science. NTTC is officially registered under the Societies Act 1860 and operates under a Governing Council appointed by the Governor of Nagaland. The campus is equipped with a high-end production wing featuring advanced technologies such as CNC Lathe and Milling machines, Robotics, Drone Technology, and 3D Printing. Recently, the institute expanded its horizon with the inauguration of the AI & Future Skills Centre of Excellence, funded by SIDBI, to train youth in Industry 4.0 standards including Software Coding and Robotics. Beyond training, NTTC functions as a Common Facility Centre for local MSMEs, providing tool design and manufacturing services that support regional entrepreneurship. Its curriculum is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). With a strong focus on practical exposure, students undergo rigorous on-the-job training (OJT), leading to high absorption rates in reputed national and international companies. The institution remains a cornerstone for socio-economic development in the North-East by fostering innovation and self-employment.Admission Process
