Established in 1835, Medical College, Kolkata is the oldest medical college in India and Asia. It was the first institution to teach European medicine in the East. It serves as a tertiary care referral hospital for the entire Eastern India region.

Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech is through the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance exam rank list. 50% seats are merit-based allotted by CEE Kerala; 50% are management/NRI seats filled by the society. MBA admissions require KMAT/CMAT/CAT scores followed by GD/PI. MCA admissions are based on the university entrance rank.

Cutoffs

KEAM ranks for CSE typically range from 25,000 to 45,000; other branches are available for ranks up to 60,000 in the general merit category.
