Admission Process

Admission to MDI Gurgaon's full-time PGDM programmes (PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-BA) is based on CAT or GMAT scores. The online application form is available on mdi.ac.in from September onwards; the application fee is INR 3,000 (including 18% GST) for Indian applicants and INR 8,496 for NRI/foreign national applicants. Stage 1 shortlisting is based on CAT/GMAT score (70% weightage), academic performance in Class X, XII, and graduation (20%), and work experience (10%), along with academic and gender diversity. Shortlisted candidates are invited for Stage 2, which includes a Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion/Group Exercise (GE), and Personal Interview (PI) at centres in Bangalore, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. Final selection weightage: CAT score (35%), Personal Interview (30%), Group Exercise (15%), Academic Performance (10%), Work Experience (10%), Behavioural Test (5%), and Diversity (7.5%). For PGDM-IB, a minimum of 1 year of work experience and a 4-year bachelor's degree are mandatory. For Executive PGDM programmes, relevant work experience of 3–5 years (programme-dependent) is required, and XAT or CAT scores are accepted. FPM/EFPM admissions are based on CAT, GRE, or UGC-JRF scores. Results are announced in May–July, and admitted students must confirm by paying the first fee installment by the given deadline.
