Mahila P.G. Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur, was established on October 2, 1987, to fulfill the transformative vision of Sher-e-Rajasthan Loknayak Shri Jai Narain Vyas. He firmly believed that an educated woman is the cornerstone of a progressive and enlightened society. Starting with a humble enrollment of just 41 students in the Arts and Commerce faculties, the institution has grown into a premier Post Graduate college in Western Rajasthan, now catering to over 3,200 students. The college is managed by Shri Jai Narayan Shikshan Sansthan and is the only dedicated women’s PG college in the region recognized under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. The campus offers a wide spectrum of academic programs across Science, Humanities, Commerce, and IT. Over the years, it has strategically expanded into professional streams like BCA and BBA to empower women for the modern corporate landscape.
