About MAHAGYANI RISHI ASHTAVAKRA KENDRA GOVT POLYTECHNIC PANCHKULA

Mahagyani Rishi Ashtavakra Kendra (MRAK), situated within the Government Polytechnic Sector-26 Panchkula campus, was established in 2020 as a pioneering initiative by the Govt. of Haryana. It is North India's first state-level center dedicated to providing technical education to Speech and Hearing Impaired (Divyangjan) students. The Kendra focuses on creating an inclusive learning environment through multimedia educational approaches, sign language interpreters, and barrier-free infrastructure to ensure seamless vocational training.

Admission Process

Admission is based on the merit of the 10th-class qualifying exam. Applications for hearing-impaired candidates are often invited on a first-cum-first-serve basis. Centralized counseling is conducted via HSTES (www.techadmissionshry.gov.in). Candidates must produce a valid disability certificate for specialized seats.

Cutoffs

Minimum 35% in 10th (33% for SC/ST) along with relevant disability certificate for specialized intake.
