The Madhusudan Institute of Co-operative Management (MICM), Bhubaneswar, is a premier management institution established in 1955-56. As a constituent unit of the National Council for Co-operative Training (NCCT), New Delhi, it functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Co-operation, Government of India. The institute is strategically located on a 3.4-acre campus in the heart of Bhubaneswar's Unit-8 area. Over the last seven decades, MICM has evolved into a hub for excellence in cooperative management and professional business education. The institute is best known for its flagship two-year full-time MBA program, which was launched in 1998 and is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). Beyond general management, MICM specializes in human resource development for the cooperative sector, offering the Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM) and various Management Development Programs (MDPs). The faculty consists of highly qualified professionals, many of whom have received training from top-tier institutions like IIM Ahmedabad. MICM provides a robust infrastructure including air-conditioned smart classrooms, a high-tech computer lab with 74 nodes, and a massive library containing over 17,000 volumes.
