Master Adityendra Ji (M.A.J.) Government College, Deeg, is a premier higher education institution located in the historic town of Deeg in the Deeg district (newly carved from Bharatpur) of Rajasthan. Established on September 11, 1977, the college initially functioned within a portion of the iconic Deeg Fort with only 137 students in the Arts faculty. Over the decades, it has grown significantly in both infrastructure and academic scope. In 1981-82, the Commerce faculty was introduced, followed by the Science faculty in 2007. The college was renamed in honor of the freedom fighter Master Adityendra Ji during the 2001-02 session by the state government. Spread across a 7-acre campus, the college is affiliated with Maharaja Surajmal Brij University and is recognized under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. It holds a Grade 'D' accreditation from NAAC. The institution serves a large rural and semi-urban population, providing affordable education to nearly 3,000 students. Academic offerings include Bachelor's degrees in Arts (with subjects like Hindi Lit, Pol Science, Geography, History, and Sanskrit), Commerce, and Science (Maths and Bio groups).
