Established in 1968, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Polytechnic for Women (KCGPW), Ambala City is one of the oldest and premier women's technical institutes in Haryana. Renamed after the legendary astronaut Kalpana Chawla, the college is situated in a serene environment near the session court.
