Admission Process

Admission to KIIT is primarily conducted through the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE), an online computer-based test held in three phases annually (April, June, and July). The exam contains 120 multiple-choice questions, lasts 2.5 hours, with +4 marks for correct and -1 for incorrect answers. There is no application fee for KIITEE. For B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology with a minimum of 60% aggregate. KIIT also accepts JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. MBBS and BDS admissions are conducted through NEET UG scores via centralized counselling. B.Arch admissions require a valid NATA score. MBA admissions accept CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, or KIITEE Management scores, with a minimum 50% graduation aggregate. After the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates undergo counselling, document verification, and fee payment to confirm their seats.
