Admission Process

IIIT Bangalore conducts admissions at different levels based on the program: 1. B.Tech (4-Year): Admission is based on JEE Main scores via JoSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics with a minimum of 60% aggregate. No separate test is conducted. 2. Integrated M.Tech – iMTech (5-Year): Admission via JEE Main rank through IIIT-B Counselling. Minimum 60% in Class 12 with Mathematics is required. Applicants choose between CSE and ECE as per their preference. 3. M.Tech (2-Year): Admission is based on GATE scores (CS/IT paper for CSE and EC paper for ECE) through CCMT counselling. Candidates must have a graduation degree with at least 65% marks. 4. M.Sc in Digital Society (2-Year): Admission via GATE, GRE, or a written test conducted by IIIT-B, followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree. 5.
