About Institute of Public Enterprise

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), popularly known as IPE Hyderabad, is one of India's most prestigious autonomous management institutions, established in 1964 under the aegis of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India, and the Government of Telangana. Originally founded to study issues and policies relating to public enterprises, IPE has evolved into a comprehensive Centre of Excellence for management education, research, training, and consultancy. Admission Process

Step 1: Register online at the official IPE Hyderabad website (ipeindia.org) using your email ID and phone number. Step 2: Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 500 via net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI. Step 3: Fill in all personal and academic details in the application form and upload scanned copies of required documents (Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, graduation marksheet, entrance exam scorecard, ID proof). Step 4: Appear in any one of the accepted national entrance exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / GMAT and submit a valid score. Step 5: Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) at the IPE campus. Step 6: Final merit list is prepared on the basis of entrance exam score (50%), academic record (30%), and performance in GD + PI (20%). Step 7: Receive the offer letter and confirm admission by paying the first-year fee. Minimum Eligibility: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). CAT 2024 cutoff: 70 percentile. For FPM: Master's degree in Management/Economics/Commerce (First Class) with valid UGC-NET/CAT/GMAT/GRE score.
