Admissions to IEM Kolkata are conducted online through the official website (iem.edu.in). For B.Tech programmes, candidates must qualify the IEMJEE (IEM Joint Entrance Examination) – conducted in both online (CBT) and offline modes. Admission is also available under Direct/Management Quota for candidates who could not appear in entrance exams. For BBA and BCA, the IEMCET entrance exam is accepted, with eligibility requiring at least 65% in Class 12. MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, GMAT, or JEMAT scores, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round. M.Tech admissions require a valid GATE score.
