Admission Process

Admission to ICT Mumbai varies by programme. For B.Tech./B.Chem.Eng.: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Admission is through MHT-CET (for Maharashtra domicile students) or JEE Main (for All India quota). 70% seats are reserved for Maharashtra state students; 30% for All India category. Final seat allotment is done through CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra. For B.Pharm.: Only MHT-CET scores are accepted. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. For M.Tech./M.Chem.Eng.: Candidates must have a B.Tech./B.E. in a relevant discipline with a minimum 55% aggregate (50% for reserved categories). GATE scores are mandatory. For M.Tech. in Bioprocess Technology, Food Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, GAT-B scores are accepted. An institute-level written test and interview may be conducted for some specializations. For M.Pharm.: Candidates must hold a B.Pharm. degree. Admission is based on GPAT scores followed by an institute-level test and interview. For M.Sc.: Candidates must hold a B.Sc. with the relevant subject as the main subject and a minimum 60% aggregate. Admission is through an institute-level entrance test. For Ph.D.: Candidates must hold a Master's degree with a minimum 55% aggregate. Selection is through an institute-level written entrance test followed by an interview. For MBA (IEV): Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum 50% aggregate.
