Being part of a relatively young IIT also gives students opportunities to contribute to its development and take initiative. • **Would you recommend this institution to a prospective student?** Yes • **What is the single biggest reason behind your recommendation?** The biggest reason is the combination of a strong IIT academic environment, improving infrastructure, supportive faculty and opportunities for students to develop technical as well as interpersonal skills. As a newer IIT, students also get opportunities to take initiative and participate in building the campus culture. • **Did the college live up to the expectations set during admissions?** Met expectations • **What kind of student is best suited for this college, and who might struggle here?** IIT Jammu is best suited for students who are academically motivated, adaptable and willing to take initiative. Students who actively participate in projects, clubs, competitions and other activities can make good use of the opportunities available. Someone expecting a very old IIT with a fully established campus ecosystem, extensive alumni network and highly mature infrastructure from day one may need some adjustment • **If you could redo your admission decision, would you pick this college again?** Yes • **What was the proudest moment of your college journey, and what was your biggest frustration?** The proudest moments were the opportunities to participate in academic, technical and extracurricular activities while representing the institute and developing confidence through new experiences. My biggest frustration was that, as a relatively young IIT, some aspects of infrastructure, campus facilities and institutional systems are still developing.
