Admission Process

Admission to IIM Lucknow varies by programme. For the flagship PGP (MBA) and PGP-ABM programmes, candidates must register for the Common Admission Test (CAT) via the official CAT website. After CAT results, IIM Lucknow shortlists candidates based on a composite score comprising CAT score, academic performance (10th, 12th, graduation), work experience, and diversity factors. Shortlisted candidates are invited for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list is prepared considering all components. The minimum qualifying CAT percentile is 90 (General), with sectional cutoffs also applicable. For PGP-ABM, the minimum is 85 percentile (General). For PGP-SM (Sustainable Management), a minimum of 2 years of work experience is required along with CAT scores.
