About Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonipat

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonipat (IIIT, Sonipat) is one of the 20 new IIITs established under the PPP model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It was granted the status of an Institute of National Importance in 2020. The institute focuses on providing high-quality technical education in Information Technology and allied fields to meet the growing demands of the industry. Currently operating from a transit campus, the institute is steadily building its research and academic infrastructure.

Admission Process

Admission to the B.Tech program is based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main through JoSAA and CSAB counseling. Admission to the Ph.D. program is based on GATE/NET scores followed by an interview process.
