For MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics), candidates must have a recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD). From 2024 onwards, IIFT accepts CAT scores for shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for Essay Writing, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list is prepared on the basis of CAT score, academic performance, gender and academic diversity, work experience, and GD/PI performance. For MA Economics, candidates must apply via the institute's own entrance test conducted annually in June, followed by a Personal Interview.
