The ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP) was established by ICAR to strengthen agricultural economics research through intensive integration of economics in the planning and evaluation of agricultural R&D programs.

Admission Process

Admission to PG and Ph.D. programs is handled through the ICAR-AIEEA and AICE-JRF/SRF entrance exams respectively. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility of a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics or related social sciences with a valid ICAR score.
