Government Medical College, Kannur (formerly Pariyaram Medical College) is one of the premier medical institutions in Kerala. It was the first self-financing medical college under the co-operative sector in India before being nationalized. The campus spans over 119 acres and includes a 1200-bed super-specialty hospital.

Admission Process

Admissions follow the University of Calicut Centralized Admission Process (UGCAP). 50% of the seats are filled through the University single-window merit system, and 50% are filled via the Management Quota. Candidates must register on the University CAP portal first and then apply to the college for management consideration.

Cutoffs

Typically requires index marks above 850 for B.Com and BCA in early university merit rounds.
