Government Polytechnic, Mandi Adampur (Hisar) was established in 1985 as the Government Institute of Management & Pharmacy. Spread over 18 acres, the institute offers technical education in 7 diploma streams. It aims to equip youth with technical skills for suitable employment through modern labs and dedicated faculty.

Admissions are conducted through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). For Diploma Engineering, it is based on 10th-grade merit. For D. Pharmacy and Business Management, it is based on 12th-grade merit. Lateral entry (DET-L) is available for ITI/12th Vocational/PCM students.
