Government Polytechnic College, Dholpur (GPCD) was established in 2010 as a premier technical institution under the Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. Initially operating from the campus of GPC Sawai Madhopur, the college shifted to its own sprawling 5-acre campus in Purani Chhawni, Dholpur, in 2014. The institute is dedicated to providing high-quality technical education to the youth of Rajasthan, particularly in the eastern district of Dholpur. It is fully funded by the Ministry of Technical Education and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The campus is designed to facilitate a holistic learning environment, featuring lush greenery, modern laboratory equipment, and dedicated workshop areas where students gain hands-on experience. With a mission to create competent diploma engineers who can meet the dynamic challenges of the industrial world, the college emphasizes both academic rigor and ethical values. Admission Process

Admission to the 3-year Diploma programs is conducted through centralized counseling by DTE Rajasthan. Candidates must have passed the 10th standard with a minimum of 35% marks. Selection is based purely on the merit of Class 10 marks. Lateral entry to the 2nd year is available for 12th pass (Science/Vocational) or ITI holders.
