Government Engineering College, Haveri, was established in 2007 by the Government of Karnataka to provide quality technical education to students, especially from rural and economically weaker backgrounds. Spread over a scenic 33-acre campus in Devagiri, the institute is affiliated with VTU and approved by AICTE. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development.

Admission Process

For B.E., candidates must clear the KCET conducted by KEA. For M.Tech, candidates must qualify for the GATE or PGCET. Admission is through counseling based on merit and category reservation norms.
