About GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE BUXAR

Government Engineering College (GEC), Buxar is one of the premier technical institutions established by the Government of Bihar in 2019. Initially operating from Patna, it moved to its state-of-the-art permanent campus in Buxar in 2024. The college aims to provide quality technical education to students in rural Bihar and is approved by AICTE.

Admission Process

Admission is through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Students must qualify for JEE Main and then register for UGEAC (Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling). Merit lists are prepared based on JEE Main ranks.
