Government College of Engineering, Bargur (GCEB) is a premier state-government-run institution situated in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu. Founded on September 9, 1994, the college was initially established to provide high-quality technical education to students from rural backgrounds. Initially operating within the Government Polytechnic campus in Krishnagiri, the college transitioned to its permanent 50-acre sprawling campus at Madepalli on the Chennai-Bangalore National Highway (NH-46) in 2004.
