Farook College (Autonomous), established in 1948, is a premier institution of higher learning in Kerala, often referred to as the 'Aligarh of South India'. Managed by the Rouzathul Uloom Association, it was founded with the vision of educational upliftment of the socially and economically backward communities of the Malabar region. Situated on a scenic hillock named 'Farookabad' near Kozhikode, the college has evolved into one of the largest and most prestigious residential PG and research institutions in the state. It was granted autonomous status by the UGC in 2014 and is re-accredited with a NAAC A++ Grade, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.
