Engineering College Bikaner (ECB) is a premier autonomous government institution established in 1999 in the desert city of Bikaner, Rajasthan. Spanning across 337 bighas of land with over 3 lakh square feet of built-up infrastructure, it stands as a pillar of technical education in Western Rajasthan. In the 2021-22 state budget, it was declared a constituent college of Bikaner Technical University (BTU). The institution is recognized for its academic rigor and its role as a 'Model Technical Institute' in the state. ECB has been instrumental in mentoring other institutions like Engineering College Bharatpur and Barmer. The college offers a wide array of programs including B.Tech in seven specializations, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. With NIT Kurukshetra as its mentor institute under the TEQIP-III program, ECB focuses heavily on Research and Development. Admission Process

For B.Tech, admissions are governed by the Center for Electronic Governance (CEG) through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Candidates are selected based on their JEE Main rank or Class 12th percentage. For M.Tech, GATE scores are mandatory. MBA and MCA admissions are conducted through RMAP and RMCAAP respectively, based on national-level entrance scores (CAT/MAT/CMAT/NIMCET) or graduation merit.
