Admission Process

Admission to Chitkara University is based on a combination of merit and national/university-level entrance examination scores. The general process is: (1) Fill the online application form at chitkara.edu.in with a registration fee of ₹1,000–₹1,100. (2) Appear in the applicable entrance examination – JEE Main for B.Tech/B.E., NATA for B.Arch, UCEED/SAT for B.Des, CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT for MBA, NEET/merit for Nursing & Pharmacy, NIMCET/GATE for MCA/M.Tech, and University-level test for other programmes. (3) Shortlisted candidates attend a Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI) round as applicable. (4) Final merit list is prepared based on entrance exam score, academic performance, GD/PI performance, and other criteria. (5) Selected students confirm admission by submitting required documents and paying the programme fee. Admissions for the 2026 batch are open; the last date for most programmes is June 30, 2026.
