Admission Process

Admission to BE (UG) programs at DSCE is based on valid scores in KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) or COMEDK UGET or JEE Main, followed by KEA or COMEDK counselling respectively. Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with English and at least one of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics, with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates from Karnataka). For M.Tech admissions, candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks and appear for GATE or Karnataka PGCET (K-PGCET), followed by KEA counselling. For MBA/MCA, a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks is required, and admission is through K-PGCET or KMAT Karnataka. PhD admissions are conducted via ULRAT (University Level Research Aptitude Test) followed by an interview. The college also accepts Management Quota admissions (25% of total seats) based on 12th marks and KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main scores.
