About CENTRE FOR COMPUTERS AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (CCCT) SIKKIM

The Centre for Computers and Communication Technology (CCCT), located in the serene hills of Chisopani, South Sikkim, is a premier technical institution established in 1999 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Sikkim. Functioning as a registered society, CCCT was conceptualized in collaboration with the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), Bangalore, to bridge the gap between academic education and industrial requirements. The institute is spread across a lush green campus and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has carved a niche for itself in the North-Eastern region of India by providing high-quality technical education through its three-year full-time Diploma programs. CCCT is notably one of the few polytechnics in the region to have National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited courses, specifically in Computer Science and Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The curriculum is meticulously designed to foster technical ability and professional skills, emphasizing hands-on training in state-of-the-art laboratories. The institute’s mission is to build a department of global repute that can create skilled technical manpower capable of adapting to the latest industry trends. Beyond academics, CCCT encourages holistic development through sports, cultural fests, and technical workshops. With a dedicated Training and Placement Cell, the college maintains a stellar placement record, regularly attracting top-tier companies like Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, and leading IT firms. Its commitment to excellence is reflected in its modern infrastructure, including digitized libraries, smart classrooms, and comprehensive residential facilities for both boys and girls.
