Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), formerly known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), is a premier private university established on April 4, 2007, by the Gujarat Energy Research & Management Institute (GERMI) under the GSPC Group, Government of Gujarat. PDEU follows a merit-cum-entrance exam based admission process. For M.Tech: Minimum 60% or 6.5 CPI/CGPA in B.E./B.Tech; GATE score for 50% seats; remaining merit-based. For MBA/Executive MBA: Minimum 50% in Bachelor's degree; valid CAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT score; followed by GD and PI rounds. For M.Sc/B.Sc: Merit-based on qualifying degree marks.
