Buchepalli Venkayamma Subbareddy Engineering College (BVSREC) was established in the year 2008 by the Buchepalli Venkayamma Subbareddy Charitable Trust. It was inaugurated by the late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Situated on a sprawling 13-acre campus in Chimakurthy, Prakasam district, the college offers a serene atmosphere conducive to academic excellence. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada. Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech programs is through the AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Govt. of AP. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Lateral entry students (Diploma holders) can join the second year via AP ECET. For PG courses, candidates must qualify in GATE or AP PGECET.
