BIT Institute of Technology (BITIT), Hindupur, was established in the year 2001 by the Sri Venkateswara Educational Society under the visionary leadership of Dr. P. Chandra Mohan. Spanning across a sprawling 26-acre eco-friendly campus, the institute was founded with the primary objective of bringing high-quality technical education to the rural masses of the Anantapur region. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur (JNTUA). It holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification and has historically been accredited by the NBA, reflecting its commitment to maintaining academic standards. The institute offers a wide range of programs including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in disciplines like CSE, ECE, EEE, and Civil Engineering, along with postgraduate Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses. Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech is through AP EAMCET counseling conducted by APSCHE. 70% of seats are filled under Category A (Convener Quota) based on entrance ranks, and 30% under Category B (Management Quota). For MBA and M.Tech, AP ICET and AP PGECET/GATE scores are required, respectively. Diploma admissions are based on AP POLYCET merit.
