Established in 2017 by the Government of Rajasthan through the Bikaner Technical University Act, the institution was envisioned to alleviate the workload of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, and to cater specifically to the educational needs of Western Rajasthan. Admission Process

Admission to B.Tech is through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) based on JEE Main or Class 12 marks. For M.Tech, GATE scores are preferred. MBA admissions require CAT/MAT/CMAT scores. Ph.D. admissions are conducted through a university entrance test followed by an interview.
