Appasaheb Alias Sa. Re. Patil Institute of Technology (SRPIT), established in 2010 by the Shree Datta Shetkari Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Charitable Trust, is a premier technical institution in Kolhapur district. Initially started as a polytechnic (Datta Polytechnic), it expanded to include a degree engineering wing in 2024. The institute is dedicated to empowering rural students through quality technical education and ethical values.

Admission Process

For B.Tech, candidates must appear for MHT-CET or JEE Main and participate in the DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds. For Diploma courses, admission is based on Class 10th merit through MSBTE counseling.
