Andhra University College of Engineering (AUCE), established in 1955, is a premier autonomous engineering institution located in the heart of Visakhapatnam. As a constituent college of Andhra University, it carries a legacy of over seven decades in technical education excellence. Originally started with Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering, the college has expanded to include 12 engineering departments and 4 basic science departments. It holds the distinction of being the first Indian institution to establish a Department of Chemical Engineering (in 1933). The college is spread across a lush 165-acre campus (North Campus) and is accredited by NAAC with an 'A++' grade (3.60/4.00 score), reflecting its high academic standards. AUCE is consistently ranked among the top engineering colleges in India by NIRF and other ranking bodies. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institution and has been identified for potential upgradation to IIT status in the past. Admission Process

B.Tech admission is strictly through AP EAPCET merit ranks. M.Tech admissions require GATE or AP PGECET scores. MCA requires AP ICET, while B.Arch requires NATA scores. 10% seats are reserved for lateral entry in the second year.

General Category EAPCET Rank for CSE usually closes under 2000; ECE under 5000.
