Amravati General Hospital (widely known as Irwin Hospital) is one of the oldest and largest government hospitals in the Vidarbha region. In 2024, the Government Medical College (GMC) Amravati was established within its campus, upgrading it to a teaching institution. It provides comprehensive healthcare services to the district and serves as the primary hub for medical education and research in the area.

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS program is strictly through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by Maharashtra State CET Cell Counseling (85% State Quota) and MCC Counseling (15% All India Quota).
